Who we are

We didn't start an agency.
We built a booking machine
then charged rent for it.

BOOKED was founded in a back-room of a Los Angeles barbershop in 2021, after our founder watched his own barber lose $14,000 a month to missed calls, empty chairs, and a website that hadn't been touched since 2017.

Today we run the booking infrastructure for 217 shops and studios across the US — barbers, tattoo artists, stylists, and piercers who refuse to be another ClipChamp case study. We only take clients we can double.

Four things we will not do.

We're easier to work with when you know the edges up front. These aren't preferences. They're rules.

No long-term lock-ins.

Month-to-month, cancel anytime. If we stop making you money, you stop paying us. No 12-month annuities disguised as "strategic partnerships."

No junior account reps.

Every conversation starts with a senior strategist. Nobody on our team has fewer than four years running paid media for personal-service businesses.

No vanity dashboards.

We report on booked appointments, show rate, revenue per chair. Not impressions, reach, or "engagement velocity." Only numbers that pay rent.

No white-label outsourcing.

Ads, creative, site builds, AI — all in-house, all in LA. Nothing farmed out to agencies in Manila, nothing licensed from someone else's playbook.

Before BOOKED, Daniel ran paid media for two high-growth DTC brands and built the internal CRM that still books 60% of a major west-coast barber chain's appointments. He started BOOKED to give independent shops the same infrastructure that the chains spent seven figures on.

He still cuts his own hair. Badly.

2021

The back-room year.

Founded in LA. First client is a single-chair barbershop in Echo Park. We run $37/day in Meta ads. He doubles his revenue in 90 days.

2022

First 20 shops.

Grow entirely through referrals. Hire our first creative director. Build v1 of the booking dashboard that still runs client operations today.

2023

Launch the receptionist AI.

47 shops go live with after-hours AI answering. Average answer rate jumps from 62% to 94%. Client after-hours bookings grow 38%.

2024

NY + Miami open.

Two satellite studios, 12 on the team. Forbes 30U30. $47M tracked client revenue. Still zero paid acquisition of our own.

2026
